    Karma Amoeba stem Karma

Now Karma. Just pay postage. Every bit I keep just makes me want to build another bike and I can't afford to build another bike (Can't afford anything ).

    Karma Amoeba stem Karma

Amoeba 1 1/8 threadless stem. 85mm length, 25.4 diameter. Overall good condition with minor marks and surface rust on bolts. Now Karma. Just pay postage. I feel like I should give something back to the forum since I've been pretty useless lately.

    Sorted shimano 3x9 front derailleur

Just swapped the spacer over to the other side and it seems to be working. (well on the stand anyway, will see when I actually ride it). Don't know why I didn't think about that before. It's not perfect but it'll be good enough for me for now to last the winter. It's a £20 bike, I'm not going...

    Sorted shimano 3x9 front derailleur

It's completely as it came out of the factory. Cube SL cross. It's a Hollowtech 2 bottom bracket. I know with a 68mm shell it's supposed to be 2 spacers on drive side but I'm wondering if I swap one spacer to the non drive side it will bring it further in and make it right. I've had bikes before...

    Sorted shimano 3x9 front derailleur

So it will change from the small ring to middle ring and back fine but struggles to go to the big ring. It will go but not fully (the chain sits at an angle as if not on properly). Then it gets stuck on the big ring. I've cleaned and lubed it to free it off and it's better but it's almost as if...

If you have that would be great. Then all I've got to sort is tyres.

    Sorted shimano 3x9 front derailleur

I've just picked myself up a nice (well it was nice once upon a time) Cube hybrid for the winter and having some issues with it. Well for £20 I'm not surprised it's a wreck but hey when you're in my shoes, it's still better than most of my bikes. My main issue is the front derailleur needs...

    Today's Ride

Bloody cold one today. Plan was to ride and think about a few things. Ended up doing a load of hill climbing instead. But the important thing is, I felt good doing it. I haven't felt good riding for a long time so hopefully overcoming my demons.

    Today's Ride

Dragged myself out for an evening ride. Decided to stop outside a cemetery but as soon as I heard footsteps and couldn't see anyone I was gone 🤣.

    Today's Ride

Today I rode a bike. That's all that mattered today. Pedal out of the darkness.

    Today's Ride

Today was supposed to be a rest day but decided to make the most of the weather. My back and rib hurts so the sensible thing to do is take the old Raleigh with no suspension on an off road ride. Umm wait.... Such a fun ride though. Love this bike.

Yep they'll do the job nicely. Thanks minifreak. Will message you now.

    Sorted Friction shifters

Not mtb related as such but will be using mtb parts. I've just saved an old Raleigh road bike from scrap and want to build it for myself (Has a nice Campagnolo 2 x 8 speed groupset, it's the right size for me and it's purple 😂). It has been converted to flat bars by the previous owner and I want...

    Today's Ride

Struggled today (mentally and physically) but managed a 20 mile ride. At least I can say I'm not a quitter.

    Today's Ride

Today was a good day. I got War Horse up and running (not perfect but good enough to do a decent ride) and then managed 23 miles with a fair bit of climbing. My first ride over 20 miles since my pain started 6 weeks ago (a complication from a rib injury). It hurt but it felt great. No doubt I...

    Sorted 3x9 groupset or parts

When I saw this come up on here I wanted it so badly as I had to sell my ATX 980 last year. Didn't think I'd even afford this frame but I had a lot of help from the retrobike community and I'm forever thankful as it meant I could keep my passion alive which I didn't think I'd be able to. This...

    Sorted 3x9 groupset or parts

How much would it be for the shifters and dérailleurs please? Not worried about a crankset so much as I have something I can use for that.
