Bolts are heavy. Clamp is brutish as well. Otoh it has great design and finish is first class typical of suntour.

It's a very good design and easy to look at but the hardware, bolts mostly, are boat anchors

IMO the most beautifull / best ti bikes are/ were Merlin, Moots/ Eriksen, Ibis and Fat Chance. By a healthy margin.

yeah, did something more primitive: first tried a fatter bolt and it broke inside. Next was threading another bolt inside the bolt's alum. mass. I believe it's far beyond a clean helicoil at this point.

The best susp for me now is a fat tire and low psi. I cant stand products that dont last and you cant find parts for. We should not have this kind of bs around bicycles. Dont even bring full suspension... Its not capitalism: suspension does not belong in bicycles. Suspension ruins the ride...
