Sometimes you’ve got to just accept that you’ll never know, and enjoy the bike. There were a lot of mismatches used in those days, they weren’t a throwaway society as we are now so they would use what they had. I have seen the same with Colnago, De Rosa etc, especially in the 70s.

It’s an 800 frame with a higher spec fork from a 2500 or 3000. Probably Columbus SL fork but frame will be Tange or ishwata

Fabulous bike but one thing has me perplexed…running a 9 speed cassette with c record rear gear and chainset? What size chain did you use? 9 speed? If do how does that run on the chainset or have you fitted 9 speed rings to a c record crankset?
