https://www.pissei.com/ I have one of their jerseys. Very nice but they must be fighting with one arm behind their back in English speaking countries.

    It's pronounced "Fah-jean"...

Rob Hatch...give me strength. Loves to give it the big un in French and Spanish but nobody de-sexifies Italian better than him. Its the weirdness of pronouncing everthing like you come from Bedfordshire and then dropping in a Colle del Ghisallo in caracature OTT accent. He grates me so much I...

    Lapierre Dijon

Are those 650B wheels? I would have said early not late 70s. https://thevelocollective.com/vintage-lapierre-bikes/

    My bikes.

£155 for this in 1983 - would this have been a lightly used, secondhand price? Very good value either way. Raleigh Record Sprint RRP that year was burned into my memory as being £189 (a lot of paper rounds).

If money not an issue then I would say Mercian or Argos.

Van Nicholas Euros Titanium 56cm Chester

@The Bat I went once to the shop (Hunstanton?). It was pretty small and I was doing a job in the area and popped in to buy a cassette and left with a bargain basement Airborne Carpe Diem alu CX frame that had the top tube welded on upside down (was absolutely fine). I remember the bloke in...

Van Nicholas Euros Titanium 56cm Chester

Airborne was the first incarnation of the brand which was renamed to Van Nicholas mid 00s. I had a Euros for a few years, great frame, bought it from Fatbirds in Norfolk (now absorbed into Pedal Revolution it seems) who were a big seller and importer I think. You might get a 28 in the rear but...

Super clean and super massive CB tourer in Merseyside

Whats the story with this bike then @gounthar? It looks like it was wheeled back from the LBS in 1983 and hasn't seen much action since (apart from a few chips and losing its downtube decal). Did the seller give any info?

Riding No Handed in London earns you a ticket?

For balance I will say some kids tried to rob me and other commuters a few years ago and the Met were great. The kids waited at the top of a hill (Fountain Drive / Colleage road Dulwich) for knackered cyclists and then tried to threaten to give up the bike with a stanley knife and a screwdriver...

Riding No Handed in London earns you a ticket?

My bike has been nicked in the City of London and yes, it was too small to be dealt with by City Police. Who is this mythical granny getting her purse snatched? Have you been to the City of London? Did you see many grannies? You're trawling out a host of straw man cliches here. The correct...

Riding No Handed in London earns you a ticket?

I'm sure the officers had arrested everyone in the City of London guilty of $$$M fraud that day and were simply at a loose end - and meaning well.

    Holds and track Condor £150

I had a flatshare with a condor once. It was a complete no-no to eat peanuts in communal areas and we lost the deposit in the end as their claws caused a lot of damage to soft furnishings. Be careful what you wish for is all I'm saying.

Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

Indeed. For the Bruce Burford record why go aero at all and have tribars, discs, monocoque? A missed opportunity to have some fun with it and put some panniers and a Brooks on a WR beating bike :)
