It's weird that the Zaskar Le should have a smaller diameter seatpost than my '98 Tempest which is 27.2!

That looks great, love those bold GT decals on the downtube! My '98 Tempest has the same decals too and I love the colours!

As my GT's are 16" frames too, I buy seatposts of 350 or 400mm long for them fit well beyond the seatpost junction, as I have my seat up quite a bit.

looks to be in decent condition, shame it's too far away for me. Cost of travel will outweigh the value of the bike, as much as I like it, I am not that desperate. 😁

My Timberline was heavily upgraded when it got stolen in 1993, so it won't be same bike. 😒

Hi all, I am looking for some decent wheels for my '91 Zaskar project. Ideally they would have to be Shimano Deore XT hubs like M730 or M735 laced to a decent set of rims like Mavic/Araya/Ritchey's. I have already been scouring eBay in the hope to find some wheels, though some appear on eBay...
