It's weird that the Zaskar Le should have a smaller diameter seatpost than my '98 Tempest which is 27.2!

That looks great, love those bold GT decals on the downtube! My '98 Tempest has the same decals too and I love the colours!

As my GT's are 16" frames too, I buy seatposts of 350 or 400mm long for them fit well beyond the seatpost junction, as I have my seat up quite a bit.

looks to be in decent condition, shame it's too far away for me. Cost of travel will outweigh the value of the bike, as much as I like it, I am not that desperate. 😁

My Timberline was heavily upgraded when it got stolen in 1993, so it won't be same bike. 😒

I have just been to the Vernon Barker bike repair shop (frame builders too) this afternoon and they have said whilst they could try do the job it is not without risk of failure. And as the forks are usable as they are now I'll probably clean up and get them repainted. It would of course have...
