I've just swapped one out on a rebuild that I did for a friend as the post in question (fitted to a more modern Trek T30) had too much lateral play. For me it was a 'no' as it was a pretty budget build and I feared that fitting a new cheap suspension post might give me the same result. However...

If the XT M732 front mech is bottom pull (and, if you or anyone else can help answer this - is capable of shifting on a 3 x 8 set up <I don't see why not?>) then I'll take it please.

I'm after a clean 28.6mm XT bottom-pull mech in clean condition. M737 / M738 preferred but 735/6 could work. Thanks
