New project: SR Sakae Litage >>> finished result on page 3

I have a weak spot for bonded frames like this. The bonding and bolting, the way the tubes are joined, cables are routed the distinctive wishbone stays and many more design choices that make this frame a frame you can only take for a SR Litage. The 'the Pipe' stem is constructed in the same way...

    bring out your bontrager?

I prefer the Bontrager Comp Fork over any suspension fork. It is a unique fork plus it lasts much longer.

    bring out your bontrager?

It depends on what you mean by hierarchy. The original price or position in the line up when they were new? Than it would be Ti lite on top and Privateer last. The diserabilty? That is personal. For me it would be Race, Race Lite and Off road all equal on top and Ti lite and Privateer following...

    Question about fat chance difference

I bought my Yo in 2003 and I sprayed rust prevention grease (Mike Sander) in the seattube. Rust is no concern.

    Offroad Pro-Flex 752

I have ordered a softer elastomer for the Flexstem. With the earlier 92 'medium hard' elastomer not much suspension action was going on. The first test showed the new 78 'super soft' elastomer is a noticable improvement.

Seatpost slipping down no matter what

I have 3 bikes with 29,4mm post: Yo, Verlicchi DH and Batavus. Today took delivery of two Kalloy SP 248 in silver and black for the Batavus. I do like the SP 248. It is period correct, 400mm long, but probably not fancy enough for a Yo.

    WTB Speedmaster brake pad replacements

The pads are glued into the holder. The idea was that when worn you send them back to WTB and they glue new pads in. I doubt whether they still offer the service. Living in Europe I decided to simply buy regular koolstop pads.

Sold Miyata Century, complete bike in mint condition

It is a frameset with a selection of non original parts. In Holland it was common that Koga-Miyata sold left over new old stock frames at some point to bikeshops. Some shops specced the frames with parts and moved them on and other frames were sold customers who specced their frame with what...

    Offroad Pro-Flex 752

For me it is the small conical one that works and the cylindrical did not, but my stem uses an aditional metal plate I see not fitted to your stem. As devoted rigid bike rider I am not the biggest fan of suspension, but I am impressed by the affordability of this system.
