yes , mine was the same and like you i couldn't get on with it , the only part of the build i used the lbs for was to remove the old BB as i was not going to buy the tool for the campag BB as a one off job. I have always wanted to try campag and nothing against it but nah ....

Since this original post I have changed the seat post and clamp, the original frame clamp is for a 30.6 post with the frame shimmed for a 27.2 post Original seat post clamp I'm guessing as it's once branded ,the threads do look worn

Decided to go with a stem converter and a 90 mm stem that i know should fix my reach issues . Next question is do i keep the campag triple ? i have never ridden campag before or a triple either .I do have a 105 10 speed groupset knocking about and plenty of spare wheels with shimano hubs

Forks sound like alloy when tapped AFAIK , stem could be an issue then if it's a guess the size .is the BB an English thread ?
