    Slingshot Road Bike

Those Cinelli Alter stems were the rage with the hipsters a decade ago - went for silly money.

Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

Indeed. For the Bruce Burford record why go aero at all and have tribars, discs, monocoque? A missed opportunity to have some fun with it and put some panniers and a Brooks on a WR beating bike :)

    62cm Sondec in 708

23s max limits the appeal a little but would build into a hardcore steel racer for not much dough.

Free (but as it turns out not so free) Harry Hall (54/56cm?)- Dorset

Potentially the case as the seller has another item listed as 'free' and then says 'open to offers' in text. A shame if so.

Pinarello Treviso - sacrilege or not?

I'm not so sure about that. I flagged a Pinarello Asolo (Cromor) a while back - whole bike with Shimano 600 for £120. It sat there for ages and nobody bought it.

Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

It should be noted that I was being vulgar but I said the gent looked like a bell end, not that he was a bellend. An important distinction I feel. I once had a hard job explaining to my American colleague that 'dogs bollocks' was a good thing and 'bollocks' was bad. For an in depth lesson on...

Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

Yeah it was I suppose. I think the root of the aero question (to be or not to be concerned with it) is in that photo though. @Nob is a tester and clearly respects and champions those who can lay it down and knock out a great time. Achieving the objective of less time is the only thing that...

Perhaps. He's burned his sartorial dignity though with that get up. He quite literally looks like a bellend.

Yeah, he has an economy and straightforwardness to his writing thats refreshing. I just wish he would write more, no articles for some time.

They didn't pour water on the Brooks did they? Lovely but spendy Ciocc

Lovely but looks a bit sorry for itself set up as single speed.

I was looking at the top fairing and thinking what bike is that from...looks like a Kawasaki. GPZ/GPX600, GPX750, GTR1000.

Does the aforementioned hole count as an aero gain? And is it UCI legal???

Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

The great thing about 'aero' is it gives all the anoraks a chance to communicate with other anoraks about aero things - giving solace that they are not the only crushingly dull person alive.

Mavic CPX 12 700c rims question.

They are 14mm internal width. Officially you are good to 28mm according to Mavic. Unoffically you can go higher. I've run 32mm on MA40s which are just a tad narrower. Many here will have run wider than that on this width rims. Something trad shaped like a vittoria rando will pose no issue but a...
