Yes, 'Flag' crank, late 80s into early 90s, then there was briefly a version with an 'S' instead of the flag. There is a better version, though I can't remember how you identify it. Edit: I really like them, though whether they are any stronger/lighter/betterer than a Shimano M730 or period...

Classy set-up, great to have the ivory cables too. I love that the shifters were supplied with the plastic already cracked to save anyone getting disappointed a couple of months into ownership.

I hear ya, I often can’t face going into London either, and I live there! Rode it 30 minutes home, actually walked the last few hundred metres when I realised how badly deformed the bar clamp was 😬 The bar is now in the recycling.
