I'd recommend getting a good builder to roll it out - I guess it might take a bit of searching to find someone with the correct tooling but worth the effort for such a nice riding frame

What kind of pace and terrain is the ride likely to be? I'm long off the bike so 25miles around Stamner Park and up and down Ditching Beacon might be a bit much for me :/

Local frame builder to weld on some disc tabs would likely be your best bet - dependent on how precious you are about original paint being removed in those areas. Personally, i think it's either a labour of love that you're willing to spend money on, or, accept that you either need another...
