So where's it all gone!
You know the sales stuff!
I know times are bad, but i get the sneaking suspicion that as the prices are a bit low at the moment, everyone has gone back into "hoarding mode".
Whilst I get the idea that selling stuff for less than it was "worth" 3 years ago hurts a bit, theres more to it than that.
First, sitting on kit in boxes doesn't help the hobby/ community and a lack of build kit is hardly likely to entice more people to the hobby.
Second, are you really going to use that part? Or should I put it a different way; are you really going to use that part in 10 years time. I doubt I will be doing any off roading by then, so that's a big NO
.
Third, why not sell the bits now cheap, have the cash now and use it to buy the ( also cheap) parts you need to get that shed bound project under way.
For the last couple of years we had a black "friday sale" on here, but instead could we just try to loosen our grasps on some of that kit, be realistic and get some life blood flowing back into a hobby we all love.
All the best and be safe out there!
