Rear world experiences with brooks b /c 17

Early Cambiums wear through your shorts quite quickly - but I think they changed the finish after a couple of years.
 
Because of all the positive reviews of the Cambiums here, I ordered a c17 special at a discount yesterday. Curious to see how it performs.
