Help with Marin frame numbers please!

Marin road is not my area, but that frame design isn't like a marin ive seen in the past. Looks more saracen in design.
Must admit the early 90's machine have similar ending on the top tube but they seem to use a loose seat clamp arrangement

Apologies, not the best picture, but it reads MJ4AAC035. It's on a frame/fork set I bought that was described as a "mid 90s Indian Fire Trail". I would be very grateful if anyone could confirm? Cheers!

Might be wrong place to ask, but I recently bought a Marin Bolinas Ridge which I believe is from 1998 as it has v-brakes, 3x7 gearing and ahead headset.

Serial says F08LSD040 so from the thread I guess this is from 1998 and frame size is 19"?

I have had this same bike when I was a kid, but I am not sure if I bought it in - 98 or -99. Quite sure it was - 98, anyway the price was 2100FIM which is like 350€. I used all my savings for the bike at the time, and now I am planning to either restore or retromod this. Maybe even open a build thread here.

Had my Muirwoods since new. Pretty sure I bought it in late 1989 or possibly 1990. The spec matches the 1990 Catalogue on here except I was sure it had Exage Country derailleurs rather than the M200 SGS in the 1990 catalogue.... certainly it has Country now but I did replace the original sometime back so perhaps I upgraded then. It is in the Neon Lime Yellow and 17" frame. The serial number seems to be T905 50126 but I can't be sure the 90 is correct, assuming the bottom of the stamping got missed cos it looks more like small "a" and small "n" Bike has a Made in Taiwan.
