I have asked many times about the Jamis Dakotas frame. Nobody had an answer. Well, I have one I am stripping n guess what? See the pics. You will be surprised.
 
Lol, sorry. I forgot to add them. Here you go. The frame is welded and ground down with a bit of filler to smooth out the joints. Some areas are tig welded and left as is.

I had a few very early cruisers and they were mostly same, welded n ground. A few actually brazed but not sure about Schwinn's. It's not a bad thing, just more labor intensive to remove steel than brass. I was in search of one of these frames to find out what was up with the "brazed" sections and now I know and does everyone else. There is the Dakar which I had and was told it was all fillet brazed so now I'm wondering if that was welded as well.
