This is a rare find, I think! Seller says it's aluminium, but all the Peugeot I know from this era are Vitus 979 style. This is much more like the PY10 FC as ridden by Robert Millar.

That is a very curious looking frame, the banded sections are different to a carbon fibre frame of the era, the rear drop outs looks to be different too the PYFC version, could it be a track version of this frame?

Seller is adamant it's a road frame and made it of aluminium, it's an oddity right enough

The Peugeot Comet of the time used a process where the tubes were 'screwed' into the lugs, Alans and Vitiuususususes were bonded
The ones I've owned over the years have never looked like this, the nearest being the Comete for its seat cluster area - but thats about it - yours has a bulge where the Comete does not and the dropouts have the wheel adjustment
It kind of resembles an Alan but the main tubes are quite different

The more I look at it, I think it's probably a stickered up CMP (Lyon) who I think were quite a few years ahead of Vitus when it came to bonded aluminium. Here's a few pics of a CMP to compare. I nearly bought a Comete a few years ago, just as a curiosity!
