Slowly does it.. been waiting for the paint to be stocked here in NZ.
Do decided not to just clear the frame, as every other Shasta like this seems to stay metal, so laid a full purple down, followed buy a blue flake. Wasn’t really feeling the solid color so decided to strip back the front end and go for a fade. Will blue flake the raw once more arrives, so will be raw with a blue flake, into purple with a blue flake..
used to be into track bikes like a mentalist so rekindling some NJs vibes…

Finally sorted the paint/ decals. Had to wait for ages for the spray bike clearcoat flake to get back in stock. TBH if was painting again would go for an automotive spray, this stuff doesn’t seem the hardest wearing even through raw frame was prepped properly etc. anyway, it’s done as far as I can be arsed… I know it’s not a GT but given these were made under license by them thought it can be a mash up..
