Making Lemonade... Look KG 381i

I've had a busy winter and got sidetracked with my Al Carter and Viscount projects so its been on hold for a while... The repair itself is finished and I have completed the sanding and just put a white basecoat on last week. I have to get some new paint to get a better paint match for the (gray)-white and some of the red which needs redoing. I want to strip and repaint part of the head lug where there is some galvanic corrosion causing the paint to fail so that will be next.

I have nearly all I need to actually build this frame up now, including a 25mm Carbopost and a Record 10spd group. The key piece left to find is a Mavic Cosmic wheelset like these;

So if you have a clincher version of these you'd like to shift give me a shout. :D

No work on the frame recently, been too busy with working/family/messing about with my Viscount and P3 TT bike projects.

Last week I did however finally snag a pair of the early 2000s SSC Comics as I posted about back in Feb! Very very happy to at last have a decent condition set for little money (collection only ebay always good). From a very nice chap who drove out to meet me halfway too which was much appreciated. It's given me a new boost of enthusiasm for this project. I've tried a few stems but decided I need the perfect angle to get a stem angle that follows the top tube angle, parallel with the ground. Shallow angles look a bit off.
