Yeah still got the bike, I try and get out on it at least once a month, even if it's just to take the dogs for 5 miles.

A couple of new bikes (Orange P7 - 2023 and Orange 6 Evo -2025) have meant I'm using them more now as they just feel so planted and give greater confidence.

Unfortunately I sprayed over the serial number and don't think its visible now.

I'll have a look when I get home as currently on holiday.

So I've decided to get the bike properly sprayed and give it that "new" look.

Problem is I dont know what colour?

So I stay true to the Rock Lobster steel and go red / maroon option or go completely different and go unique?

What would you guys do?

Decided to make the bike a bit cleaner before it goes off to be sprayed this week.

I've always been a minimalist and having cantilever and disc brake mounts seemed overkill and cluttered.

I'm only ever going to run Hope disc brakes on this bike so off came the cantilever mounts.

Quite an easy job with the dremel, cut off the mounts first as far back as I could without risking damage to the frame then just ground the remainder off.

Off to be sprayed this week in a lovely Audi Nardo Grey colour, I know its not traditional Rock Lobster 853 red / maroon / burgundy but I fancied something different.

Watch this space for the rebuild....
