They stopped that a while ago and tbh I think it's fair, I get how viewing is ideal but they need to cover costs for running the site and obviously if he puts the reddies in your hand there and then, eBay miss out.
EBay does still have its positives, I think you get the highest price for your item there.

I don't like it and I wouldn't give or take the reddies as people would lose buyer protection stuff, if they wanted it then I'd have asked them to login and click BIN. Also quite a few adverts say viewing recommended but they are making very difficult to actually do that.

There’s a Santa Cruz near me that I wanted the brakes and wheels from. Obviously has Hope hubs which crack so thought since it’s probably within 5 miles it’s best to go look prior to bidding. Anyway seems he doesn’t want to do that. And of course it didn’t sell and has been relisted.
