1984 Saracen ATB?

Mine had a b66, but im not 100% sure that's what they all came with.

This advert and sprung seat....but then the next from the bluemels period is something like an avocete?

The parts are all mid 1984.

Rear mech AE which I believe is May 84
Cranks D6 which would be June 84
Hubs AG which would be July 84.

I bought a copy of this book when I acquired my Saracen from @Tootyred on this here forum. The red one I acquired wasn't like the black ones used to take up Kilimanjaro but yours has some similarities. The wishbone brake hanger looks similar to the ones in the book. These are lovely bikes to ride. A lot of the expensive bespoke bikes you get now for gravel biking etc are just re-runs of these lovely steel ATBs. Great to explore on.
