Ernie Clements 531 Falcon San Remo

Early morning spot the difference.
Of course I did the easiest wheel first! Fully stripped and surprised at the condition of the hubs especially the bearings and cones. Fresh grease, re-laced and trued (first time for me) and this one is ready for possibly another 50 years? Maybe not....
On to the rear wheel.

What make are the hubs and the rims?

Great job so far. I appreciate the time and effort you are putting into this. I think the chain-set was made by Cyclo/Benelux. I've seen one that looks like that. Could you show a close-up of the crank arm on the near-side?

Thanks for the comments. I'm really enjoying the process so far.
I shall take a picture tomorrow for you.

115 separate parts making up the rear hub and freewheel (left the sprocket as one).
All cleaned and now to put it back together......actually lucky to have one of the pawl springs and rod when it fell on the floor! How does it go again?

Been a while since a post but I've been fitting a bit of tinker time in between work and family life.
Anyhow, all the parts have now been cleaned as best I can (just the rear wheel to rebuild) and now it's reassembly time. Probably the best part of a build but it comes with a bit of sadness that I'll be moving this one on soon. A way to go though yet but here's a few progress pics for those interested.
