I just don't like schwalbes. My city slickers had sidewall splits on front and rear and seen a schwalbes race tyre sidewall blow out on a 40mph descent so don't touch themYou can use a cheaper tyre, Schwalbe Marathons etc are expensive and you bin them when they wear out, and you can still get a puncture, with these, they transfer to a new tyre, plus you can ride them flat too if you did get a puncture (never happened yet)
These are a good option for the townie/pubber. The problem I'm having is the bike is all ex-skip recycled with a view to if it gets nicked, then tough tittie build another. These would give the bike some value
