hi all
picked up another project this past week. if i can't successfully remove the rattle can black and/or original paint under is too messed up this will need a paint job. when you think brodie what colour comes to mind? what is THE iconic brodie colour scheme?

I finally got my hands on a Kona, and I only waited 30 years to do it..
What was it Rutger Hauer said about Good things come to those who wait?

I bought it locally and Im well aware that I paid over the odds, but given it's exactly the bike I always wanted when I was a young man and how good it looks I gave the guy the money without even blinking.

Anyway its a 1991 Lava Dome on an 18 inch frame that’s spent at least the last decade in the original owners lockup and by the look of things it had a very easy life when in use as the decals are in remarkable condition plus its still wearing...

More for fun than trying to win anything as 90's Lava Domes are as common as raindrops in Scotland 😂😂
Plus there are many more interesting bikes around

This is going to be a weird one to pick.

The brodie "needs" a brodie stem and the rocky "needs" syncros bar ends.

I have a set of brodie lovehandles, but not a bike that is eligible to enter them on.
 
Got a few with bar-ends. They're all a bit too functional to enter though! (for 'functional' read 'a bit tatty')
Riser-bars killed bar-ends for me. Good call though- great idea for the month🙂

Lovely build mate the brakes booster on your forks the red ones did you anodised them blue or are they another set and how did your anodising cheers
