So, I picked up this on an auction and I really only want it for the forks/stem/groupset - when I got the bike the frame was nice and clean and someone had obviously cared for it because it had a nice new blue metallic Mercian paint job - not cheap!! It doesn't look like it had a hard life since the respray apart from the obligatory front mech clamp mark!
They had also had a seat tube clamp put on to make it look earlier and 1992 decals
On further inspection, it turned out to be a 1994 so I ordered some new decals from Gil and put them on - it looks great IMO but I just don't have time or space to build it at the moment so on she goes.
