I, too, have a sweet '91 Axis. I really like the ride of the True Temper frame--I find it more compares favorably to any of my '90-'92 Tange Prestige frames (GT, Bridgestone, Haro). I'm not sure what it is about them, but all my old diamondbacks seem to climb better than my other rigs...
