After a bit of bother over the last year with my ankles and having and itch to try a 29er full suss I got the Santa Cruz Tallboy frame and set about building up another bike! I have 2 29ers and one is for winter use and the other for Sunday best! I sold the winter use frame so put all the bits...

Re: I have Ti bolts in my rotors and would trust them more than steel or alloy! Call it bedding in...if you have to tighten them after every ride then I would worry...

Re: As a heavy user of the 11 speed set up...I would say I need to change chains every 2000miles in the dry and 1000 in the gloopy wet. I don't think they do last as long, but I get them at around £17 a pop for a Shimano XT one and have never snapped one!

Ahh yes the hero of the hour! After a small child decided to use my bike as a climbing frame, using the bottle cage as a foot hold it snapped! Jason came to the rescue with a spare cage, not before I rounded of the bolt heads in the process! Never mind it stayed put using a zip tie and one...
