    SITREP: rides extremely nicely for being too small, similar to my '92 De Bernardi SLX, no surpise there. I was worried that the Shamals would be bone jarring on the crappy roads around here, but not the case, and the bike was very stable descending but also quick turning.

    LOL, good old 'Super Mario', definitely put some colour in to the peloton. Not sure if he out-Armstrongs Armstrong in the personality department? I think the government of Brazil allowed a convict out of jail to compete in the 1982 World Cup. They lost anyway.

    One of my training buddies back in the late 90's was as big a cynic as me. I asked him what he thought of the Armstrong 'miracle comeback'. He just laughed and said it was a medical\cyborg project, nothing to do with athletics.
