LOL. Weirdly, I took the Marinoni out for a spin today, and on the return leg there's a big left hand downhill section. I told myself I should cover the levers, just in case. Then a van passed me, only to slam on the binders. I did the same, just as a young deer ran across the road.

LOL, 'road maintenance' seems to mean 'let things crumble into dust'. It was a stupid incident, my fault for not setting up limit screws properly. Haven't gone down in eight years, and that one left me permanently screwed up, so escaping with bumps and bruises is a win at my age.

Agreed, I have an '08 5.1 and it's the only bike I have that I can tolerate longer rides on.

Update: took this out for a couple of shakedown rides (hit the deck on one of them, ouch), rides great, very stable and comfortable.

That's some serious UV bleaching going on. I have the same problem with the fork on my Pro Racing, but not as bad.

Were these things any good? My knowledge of Zeppelins only extends to Led.
