Hi, thanks for the reply, it creaks and there seems to be a bit of play in there. It sounds like bal bearings grinding slightly aswell. Yeah no harm in soaking the cables :)

Hi everyone, i have recently bought a K2 Proflex 3000 but the crank is quite noisy and i think its going to be a good idea to get it replaced asap. Are these an item that any bike shop can replace or are they a special crank set for these bikes? I'm new to all this so go easy on the new guy...
