The Ladies is in much better condition as far as the frame is concerned. Most of the equipment is alloy so not much cleaning up to do there. My better half will only ride it if it's painted pink though. :facepalm:

The paint is flaking off the bottom bracket. I have treated the whole frame with a rag soaked in cure rust and the bikes are being kept indoors. When it's damp out at least.

I picked up a couple of bikes from Freecycle. They were both hand built at the same shop 'Biking Cycles' in Prestwich not sure when exactly mid 80's at a guess. The gents is branded Falcon Voyager was a town bike, now modified and the ladies unbranded apart from the shop decal. Is it really...
