Recently it turned out that this is Billato frame! This is my first vintage Italian Columbus frame and it is incredibly comfort and fast. I don't know if other similar bikes are like this, but I am thrilled with it.. Here are two new pictures taken in room, it is so shiny indoor...

Can you tell me anything more about Billato Italian road bicycles. I can't find much about them on google, but i heard that they made frames for Titan, Ciocc, LeMond and others. Have you any example of Billato, any picture, or any thing you know abput them. Everything is helpful!

If you have any photos of these projects, show it. I think in the 80s a lot of people made mtbs from cruisers, it would be also nice to see some "racing" mtb made of an old cruiser :)

Have you ever made any DIY mountain bike from some old road bike like raleigh, schwinn or something. Of course, you can't do it from italian road racing frames from 80s, but there are some frames with big BB height and big tire clearance, so you can put some 26x 2.0 tyres?
