Managed to get out in the lanes again today in the sun before the rain hits next week 🌞😎 Was a bit stop start as I'm tweaking some new saddle / handlebar positions. Anyone got some good tips for general bike fit?

It is very flat - it does match the clamp properly when the shim isn't there though. I did try it the other way round ages ago when I first stuck the shim in there, I seem to recall it being slightly worse 😂

good idea 👍🏻 I don't think there's loads of material back there, but I can't imagine a couple of mm will hurt. Got me thinking that the bottom 5mm or so of the bolt doesn't engage with anything so I could probably shave some width from the bolt as well

Prime cycling weather in Somerset for today's lunchtime blast. The sun was blazing but a nice cool breeze to even things out. Wish I had a couple extra hours spare! Nailsea / Clevedon / Kingston Seymour / Yeovil Bridge & back in a big loop. The M5 was looking nice and clogged up already 😂...

I'm not brave enough to take it apart 😅 hesitant to pay anyone to look at it either if I'm being honest. The cost of film has pretty much priced me out of film photography as a hobby, might have to stick to the digital stuff from now on!
