Best to post in this thread with a few photos, at least one that shows the whole bike on the drive-side and others that highlight any unusual or interesting details. Also write any info you have about the bike, its history etc.

@SirCrisp Might be worth taking the D175 to a small (one-man-band type) engineering workshop and ask if they could copy it but - obviously - with the correct holes. Certainly worth a shot, keep the bike going. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

If it's for commuting then presumably you'll be on wet roads at least some of the time so it's well-worth having proper mudguards and fittings. A rear rack is also worthwhile for carrying stuff in a pannier, much more comfortable than a rucksack. I'm sure you'll find something, there are loads...
