    Go to a local framebuilder,proper bike shop, they will have for certain a reamer. Get the job done properly; no problem!

    8/9/10 speed cassettes

    The various manufacturers spacing is not the same. Some cassettes can be modified (if they come apart) for interchangeability. As a rough guide Campagnolo is unique, the rest are much the same. However earlier versions are different again, so watch the "freehub" carefully.

    Frame damage: what to do?

    As usual the lighter the tubing, the thinner, and therefor more likely to bend. If it rides well, rides hands off ok, so geometry is ok, as previously said you should have no problem. However if you want it with new pain, decals etc, then have the tubes replaced at the same time.
