    Cinelli stem length

That's a very useful site. Always wondered what the 2A/3A were! Thanks,

    Cinelli stem length

Wow that was quick! That's probably what I meant by a). So looking down from the top it's the centreline of the upright bit of the stem (through the head of the bolt) to the centreline of the bars. That to me is the most logical way, but ITM seem to measure along the side. I've...

    Cinelli stem length

I've searched but can't find a definitive answer to this one. So for a Cinelli 1A, say 110mm, where is the measurment taken? a) centre to centre along the top? b) centre to centre along the side (like the ITM stems I have) c) end to end?? I know the reach I'm trying to achieve, but...

    Campag Compatibility

I like the idea of using a triple front mech. Good thinking. Is it true you have to use pre 2001 rear-mechs with pre 2001 ergo's? I want to run compact on the front and 13-28/29 on the rear. Not sure if they made a medium cage rear before 2001 - I'll have to check the old catalogues.

    Campag Compatibility

Hi, I'm looking to build up an audax bike with 9 speed campag bits. Probably Veloce. What's the deal with compact double cranks/front mech/ergo shifters? Would a mid 90's style pair of Veloce Ergo shifters work with any campag front mech? I read something about the mech design being...

    Pashley Clubman Country

Have you seen the special edition version of it that Evans are selling? Apparently I need to have 5 posts before I can post a URL! So look up touring bikes on Evans website and you'll see it. They've made a few changes, e.g. bar end shifters. Looks pretty. I entered their competition to...

    Weinmann non-aero brake hoods

Hi, I've bought some of those, in black. Don't look or feel quite as nice as the original, but worn out, Weinmann hoods that they replaced. Although I'd had them 20 years and can't remember what they were like when new! The size/fit was good on my levers.
