Timewarp, barely used, Rocklobster (22 1/2lb)

It's getting dusted off cleaned this evening, and photos tomorrow, although that was supposed to be today :) It's a 19". An I'd love to sell it. Just haven't got a clue what to ask?

Timewarp, barely used, Rocklobster (22 1/2lb)

I bought this new with the upgraded 25th anniversary XT groupset, Hope brakes, Reba SL forks and Mavic 717 wheelset from Merlin, still got the original receipt and papers. I then proceded to buy lots of little trinkets for it to shave some weight off. Although ultimately I hardly rode it, it's...

    Carlton Corinthian, c1955

Looks like a LOT of hard work rubbing the paint and corrosion off. My finger tips empathise! :) (I've just stripped a roadster). It's nice to see the shiny steel around your brake bridge. If you have it professionally refinished, you may likely be surprised at what they can hide away. It's a...

Mystery Lightweight Frame Find Today 50s??,Anyone Help

I'm working on a "raw steel" bike too, a rod braked roadster  Have a Google there's a fair bit of info out there. LFGSS has some good stuff. Most of it points in the direction that it WILL rust. Whatever people say and however good those freshly powdercoated bike photos look. The...

    A Worthy Holdsworth, 1960s?

I bought a "Holdsworth" last year with rivet heads glued onto the badge, an the badge glued onto the headtube. When I stripped the frame it became apparent that the headtube wasn't even drilled for a headtube badge at all. The joys of ebay! ;) Not suggesting this is the case here.

    A Worthy Holdsworth, 1960s?

Are you sure it's a Holdsworth? The BB oil port looks '50s, the serial number an decals looks non correct (for that period) and it's got a straight brake bridge. *Non-expert view though*

    Cleaning cloth tape

http://lovelybike.blogspot.co.uk/2010/0 ... w.html?m=1 Shellac is traditionally a natural product (bits of beetles), but I'm sure you can get synthetic equivalents these days.

    Cleaning cloth tape

You could use shellac, or a synthetic equivalent? It does darken/change the colour a bit though.

Builders who made both frames and components?

Raleigh? Although I'm not really thinking about their lightweight models..

Apologies I'm rubbish at cutting and pasting links on my phone. The item numbers will get you there if you fancy a looksie? The starting price is £45 and they're both polished.
