Could just be the difference between model years. Not uncommon for the same model to have two eyes one year, and only one the next. Same with the adjuster screw. And another possibility is that LOOK actually designed the frames, and Peugeot took and painted a few.

Whelp, think the mystery is solved, at least to my satisfaction. Going off cyclotoine's suggestion that it was a rebadged Peugeot, I searched through some Peugeot catalogs until I found the Yellowstone hybrid bike, which has all the same distinct features, such as internal brazing, same cable...

Lots of clearance in the rear, could easily fit 35's with fenders but the front is a little more narrow, probably 32 with fenders, 35 without.

I also noticed the geometry differences with that one on LFGSS, not sure what to say. I started building this one up (picture in process) with cross components for exactly the purpose you suggested: do-all-gravel-commuter etc . . . rides and handles okay, I'm not bowled over, but the jury is...

I'm not apposed to the idea it's a hybrid, but I would prefer some evidence other than bottle and fender mounts. So far, I have more reasons to believe it's a cross frame. Not sure who I would contact at LOOK about an old frame but it might be worth a try.

I picked up the frame today, I'll post up what I know for anyone else who might find one some day! LOOK cyclocross frame, not sure the model because the original decals are missing but it's very similar to the Mi60/Mi80/Mi90 so I'm guessing it's early 90's. This one measures 56cm top tube...

I've located what seems to be a LOOK cyclocross frame, very similar to the Mi80, but I cannot find a single reference to one anywhere and I'm hoping someone might have some info. Has anyone here ever seen one of these?
