There is a slightly diagonal route through the holder. Indicating May the cable should come from the left?

I’m using these jagwire ferrules out back

Is this what these shimano rubber ferrules fit? They came with the cable kits I bought

Or I could run the all around the right of the headtube

Could I not slide in some gear cable like the photo and thread the brake cable through that?
