thanks - that's useful to know. I'm not that familiar with BMX - having never owned one - only ever coveted mates ones in teh 80s. I'll infer then maybe this isn't that enticing in terms of a project to the retro-bmxer? other than a pure nostalgia play maybe.

Just picked up a new pub commuter off gumtree. I saw the cranks didn't match but it was only when I got home that I found the lengths are different too :shock: Drive side is 1999 alivio... Anyone got anything closeish?
