A few months ago I purchased a Specialized bike that came with full XTR M900 and Rock Shox Judy SL. When I picked up the bike, the seller told me the frame is a steel S-Works. However, the frame had been repainted and the serial number is not visible. I am wondering if there is any way to make...

Bought a few XTR M900 parts from him and got everything just as described. Very helpful, insane attention to details, and kept me updated all the time. Such a great guy to deal with!! Thanks for everything!

Re: Here's an update to my project. Decided to go with black stem and fork (got these recently from a Kona Explosif that I found on local ads). I love the contrast of the frame with black parts. Still waiting for numerous parts to arrive (XTR M900, Panaracer Smoke and Dart, Odi Attack...

Re: That frame is absolutely gorgeous. If it was me, I'd do a retro build with retro parts only, but as Minifreak said, make sure you restore it to your own needs. Keep us posted, I'd like to see the process and the final result.
