I tend to ride shimano, i am a big fan of the X series, personally i prefer the LX levers with the lizard grips, xtr front and rear mechs, complete with hollotech chainsets, not very retro but i still have a whole lot of the old shimano gear kicking about, i must say, Sram or KMC chains are out...

If you go for some of the stuff such as Easton, FSA etc , the bigger brands have a lot more build and strength quality to them rather than your budget brands such as Bikehut etc. Sam
