Thanks very much. An excuse my useless knowledge but do I have to cut the cable in order to remove it from the shifter? It seems I can’t take the case off without removing the cable.

Thanks, I will give that a go. I’ve given it a good dowsing of WD40 overnight but doesn’t seem to have changed anything as yet.

Hi all, I have just bought a 1991 GT timberline but the 3 speed shifter (ST-MO50L) doesn’t click and hold the gears on the 2 larger cogs. Anyone know where I could get a replacement from? Thanks

Hi all, bought this on the weekend. Same as I had when I was 13! Really good original condition but looking for a 3 speed gear shifter (ST-MO50L) to replace this one as it doesn’t work.
