I have a rather nice pair of Marzocchi XC700 that, although they are lovely, I would like to have in black. Is paint the answer? Or anodising? Is it a foolish endeavour? Is dinner ready? All commentary appreciated...

I have a pair with a fitted shim and a pair without, which must be the earlier ones.

I've got two USE bars. One has a shim fitted, which is quite wide and the other has no shim, which I didn't spot when buying 🤦🏻‍♂️ I would have thought they came with them, as I'm not sure many (any?) mtb had a 22.2 stem fitment - that was more BMX I think?

I've been searching the internet for such an item, no luck so far. If two should turn up, I'm also keen.

Grips are brand new, I should add.

I have changed direction on a project after buying these from @My_Teenage_Self so no longer need them. I have re-used his images so I don't have to rummage in the loft, but will change them, if need be! Shifters, grips, and the little washers. £40

I also have some X-Ray 800 I can move on - will make a proper post later

Is it a cro-mo steerer? And how much?

I have a 96 Z2 fork with a 1 1/8" clamped steerer and would like the same, but threaded. It's for an 18" Kona, so doesn't have to be super long, as it's a 110mm headtube and a Kona headset. Cheers Rob
