32 * 16 is 'the norm' for mtb's though if you have lots of road work to do before geting to the single track you might find it a bit twiddly. On my fixie I run 42 *16 which is great for 'proper' road riding.

I love this bike, full of character. If bikes could speak I'm sure it could keep us all amused for hours down the pub :lol:
