Hello olddave. Lovely Aende. I have an old Aende TT which I will be racing again shortly.
If ever you consider selling that tourer though I would be very interested. I am Nottingham based too.
I've not been shot at and they had probably not seen much weather in the last 28 years.
I take it they don't make it anymore.

Having looked at my Team Raleigh 753 from SBDU Ilkeston, I noticed that has crimped stays. Obviously not a cheap frame though.
This frame does smack of cheapness despite being 531. The forks are its only redeeming feature.
Just thought seeing as I am getting back into the scene that I would start to fettle up some of my old kit.
Today's project will mainly consist of stripping down my old Mavic GP4 24 spoke track / time trial wheels and their Campagnolo Super Record hubs circa 1983.

I very much doubt I have any photos of it but there is ONE album I can check IF I can find it.
Dropouts. No idea. I cannot recall doing that to it. From memory TV forks weren't even chrome when I got it.
That's the reason I seem to recall recall the frame had already painted yellow when...

It did have Carlton transfers on.
The forks looks like Raleigh Professional Mk. V.
And G stands for Gazelle Holland on Raleigh and Carlton serial numbers.
As I am from Nottingham, you never would have a bike which wasn't Raleigh or Carlton.
Perhaps the frame is 1950's or 1960's...
