I'm picking up some Schwalbe Big Apple 2.35" today. I hope they fit or I'll probably go for a nice practical Marathon Mondial 2.0" for a bit of off road use as well.

Does anyone know or can easily measure the maximum tyre width on a 1991 Raleigh Encounter?
I've had it in storage for the past 4 years so I'm not expecting the existing tyres & tubes to be all that great and would like to put some fat slicks on there for the time being (don't judge me ok!) for...
I thought the UCI had banned upturned handlebars. ;) Good skills though.
What pissed me off is that these are the European Championships and yet before they'd even left the court they were riding on two blokes appeared at the back with a set of goalposts. No doubt they have to get off now cos...
I had one of those and that's a Series II which differed from the original in that it came with a 7-speed 105 groupset (instead of 6) with the oh so fashionable Biopace chainrings and a predominantly yellow saddle instead of white. Very nice!
Don't think so but I saw it years ago so can't remember if that's true or not.
I get the feeling this might be a film no-one but me has seen so if you want a clue, someone from this film went on to appear in Baywatch.
