Never used them but I think that they are Bontrager rims from around 1997 made by Weinmann. Maverick, Mustang & Clydesdale - light to not so light but strong.

I was also going to mention the 650c possibility but Corduroyboy got there 1st. Why not try without the rim tape installed, if I remember correctly you don't need it on those wheels.

You would have to remove the eyelets prior to anodising & then install new ones after. Not worth the bother.
