another vote for the de kerf. i 2nd the brodie as an option. i'd take a brodie over a de kerf any day. not saying anything wrong with a de kerf, just a huge brodie fan.

paul spent 11.5 hours on the frame. no comments on what to do about brakes and cranks? deerhead cantis vs mafac. deerhead cranks vs T.A. keep it all deerhead or mix it up a bit.

paul certainly has a great personality. similar to the `i would have made this a lot better myself' on the fork paul used some artistic license to improve on the design of the rear cable bridge. i was going more for form over function, but i can live with this modification. :)

hi what do you do if you search for years for something with no luck, or find one and the price tag is way more than you want to pay. you come up with the idea to make a replica. ya i know, it's not the real thing and i am probably wasting my money (so everyone tells me) but if i can be happy...

do you know anything about the grove wannabe stem? i have had several over the years in both 1" and 1 1/8". i couldn't find anything about them. sorry for the hijack.
